Susan....guess what? You were correct. From the etsy website. "The vintage kitchen tool makes it easy to strip the corn kernels from a cob by sliding the shaped cutter down the length of the cob, leaving the kernels to fall into a waiting dish."


I tried to find a website that could help identify some of these with no luck. I will keep looking!

Good guess. Even if that is not the official intent of the tool I'll definitely give it a try....especially since corn season is upon us very soon.

I'm guessing the one with the swirled blade removes corn kernals from the cob.
