American artist Jason Mecier is clearly a genius if you appreciate the fusion between food and art. He used 15 lbs of the bacon, raw and cooked to create his Kevin Bacon Bacon portrait. “I used burnt bacon for the shading and uncooked fatty bits for the
light tones on his face,” Mecier explained. “I thought I had too much
bacon when I bought a 10lb [pound] bag, but I realized his head would
need much more.”
From Carl Warner's website - "The ‘Foodscapes’ are created in Carl’s London studio where they are
built on top of a large purpose built triangular table top. The scenes
are photographed in layers from foreground to background and sky as the
process is very time consuming and so the food quickly wilts under the
lights. Each element is then put together in post production to achieve
