Food Republic, a regular go-to site for me, just listed their top 10 foodie destinations. Seems like they are following in Culinary Compass footsteps by listing one of my favorites, Schwatz's deli, in their top 10.
Food Republic's timing couldn't be better. Why? Over the last 2 weeks I forcing you to indulge in the pleasures of bacon with me. Now I can balance things out a bit by sharing with you my video of this Jewish deli in Montreal. It is the only delicatessan where they asked me if I wanted the smoked meat to be lean, medium or fatty. Believe it or not I chose medium. With a healthy schmeer of yellow mustard on my white rye and.... oy veh ... vhat a smoked meat sanvich it vuz zat I had zehr!
Find Schwartz's on the Culinary Compass Map below... and don't forget to check out Food Republic's full top ten foodies destinations.
